Installing Python
Before you download Python... Consider what Version.
Python 3.x is proven to be stable and preferred.
If you intend to use your scripts with PSS®E <= 34.6 ...
Get the latest Python 2.7 version.
If you intend to use your scripts with PSS®E >= 34.7 ...
Get the latest Python 3.7 version.
Go To Python.org and Download to a Directory on Your Machine.
Navigate to the Download Directory and Run the Installer.
Accept all of the Defaults during Installation.
After Installaton You will have a Directory called "Python37" on Your C:\ Drive.
Notice that Inside the "Python37" Directory there is a Subdirectory called "Lib".
Also Notice that Inside the "Lib" Subdirectory there is a Subdirectory called "Site-packages".
Inside the "Site-packages" Directory is where all future Python "Add-On" Support will be Installed.
Python Should Now Be Installed on Your Machine.
